Benjamin Haycock

By

Benjamin Haycock is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, rapper and composer that blends melodic, percussive and fingerstyle guitar with honest, personal and accomplished lyricism that is up there with the best. He laces this with raw, emotive and powerful singing vocals and incredibly tight rap flows to match. This is all interwoven to create a truly unique sound with strong character that derives from his engrossing stories about growing up in inner city Birmingham, mixed with the coastal tones of his home in his 20s, Devon.
After a successful stint on ‘The Voice’, Benjamin released ‘Restlessness’ as a single, which topped the iTunes singer-songwriter charts and has amassed over 5+ million streams across streaming platforms to date.
Benjamin subsequently partnered with Australian guitar company ‘Maton’ and became one of their prestigious artists and global ambassadors. Names on their roster include the likes of John Butler, Tash Sultana, Josh Homme, Tommy Emmanuel, Keith Urban and Neil Finn. He has since played on stages around Europe and the US.
In 2023, Benjamin composed/produced a soundscape for the ‘Voices for Nature’ installation that he co-developed with The Tree Council that has been exhibited across the UK at prestigious venues such as the NEC and Hampton Court Palace. Off the back of this success, he finished the year performing in front of the Prime Minister after being invited to perform at 10 Downing Street.
