My name is Ron Cross, and I work in Church Relations for Open Doors. I’m an ordained minister in the Church of England and have pastored churches in London and Los Angeles. Most recently I was Vicar of Croyde and Georgeham in North Devon. I’m currently on staff at an HTB Church in Bristol.

I’m married to Ro for 26 years now and we have two fabulous children. Our daughter has recently graduated Cambridge University and working at Christian Aid and our son is off to university in September studying sports coaching.

Every day, over 365 million Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief, and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term so that they can continue to proclaim Jesus as Saviour.

In the UK and Ireland, Open Doors helps the church to pray, give, and speak out for those who share our faith but not our freedom. We are so grateful for your support of our work and the persecuted church family.
