Creation Fest On Air

By Emma Fowle

This year, we’re gutted that we won’t be meeting together in a field in Cornwall. But instead, we’re planning to take our special brand of Creation Fest fun online, creating a series of TV-style shows that will take the best of what Creation Fest has to offer – and all that makes it unique – and condense it into six, half-hour (ish!) episodes to be aired weekly throughout July-August 2020.

Here at Creation Fest, we’ve always said that we have two aims: to creatively communicate the gospel to those that may never have heard it before, and to equip and inspire those that love Jesus to better go out and share Him with their communities.

Usually, at this time of the year, we’d be getting ready to put on a festival that does just that: seven days of live music, thought-provoking talks, skate, sports, kids and teens programmes that celebrate the good news of the God who loves us. As a free-to-attend, evangelistic event, we believe that we occupy a unique space within the Christian festival scene: an event specifically designed with something for everyone, that brings Christians closer to Jesus, and that is accessible and attractive to those who don’t yet know God or who are on the fringes of church community.

The nights will include a diverse collective of the best international musicians and speakers, interspersed with local Cornish talent, bringing us music, worship, thought-provoking talks, life stories and more. Plus, a whole host of surprise special guests getting up to all sorts of shenanigans. And all set against a beautiful Cornish backdrop, of course.

If you already know and love Jesus, our hope and prayer is that Creation Fest ON Air will entertain, inspire and encourage you at this time. But more than that, it is an utterly unique opportunity to share Creation Fest with even more people than ever before. And so, just like the festival, we’d encourage you to invite your friends, family, work colleagues and neighbours, those that don’t know Jesus yet or who are on the fringes of Church community. With more people than ever before asking the big questions, looking for meaning and exploring faith, there’s never been a better time to creatively communicate the good news of the God who loves us.

There will be much more information on creative ways to do this, lineups and more to come shortly, so make sure that you’re signed up to our newsletter, subscribed to our YouTube channel and follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for ALL the latest news!
