Valley of the Moon is an enigmatic ensemble helmed by Bristol-born producer/songwriter Robin Mitchell. The band use folklore, pastoral imagery and Biblical language to reflect upon longing, transience and sublimity. Their music stems from acoustic roots but adds synths, beats and production stylings to form a contemporary sound. Valley of the Moon describe their sound as “lo fi indie folktronica,” and their songwriting style as “Christian mysticism.”
