Creation Fest exists to celebrate the good news of a God who loves us through festivals, events, and gatherings designed to creatively communicate the Christian faith and inspire others to do the same. We may not be meeting together in person this year, but planning for 2021 and our year-round (now digital!) ministry continue unabated.
Although we will save some of the costs associated with putting on a festival in 2020, we have already incurred many costs which cannot be recouped. The festival is also our single biggest source of revenue, the one that – largely – funds our year-round work and allows us to do what we do with Glow, the Worship Tour, our church leaders and youth leaders gatherings; run an office, pay for our storage facility and ministry house, actually have a staff team and plan for the future…
Which means that, now more than ever, we need your support. As well as planning for a Creation Fest 2021 that will blow your socks off, we are already planning and praying to use this time, and the opportunity that it presents, to share the good news of the God who loves us with an even BIGGER audience. We know that going digital isn’t the same as standing in a big shed in Cornwall and singing your hearts out, but it is an opportunity to take the creativity, diversity and energy of Creation Fest and blast it into cyberspace. We’re praying that it will encourage the church AND bring a message of hope and joy to a world that desperately needs it right now.

Many people ask us why we don’t just charge an entry fee for Creation Fest, or the other events that we run. It’s a good question.
We are proud to be one of the only free-to-attend, gospel-centred festivals in the UK. We are free because we believe that the good news of a God who loves us should be freely shared, freely heard, and free for all. But although it may be free to attend, it isn’t free to put on; it costs roughly £37 per person, which is why we need your support for this and the year-round ministry that we undertake.
“What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.”
