Camping FAQs

When can I arrive?

Campers can arrive from 12 noon on Wednesday 31 July.

Please note that venues, cafes etc will not be open to the public prior to Thursday 1 August and there will be construction taking place on site.

When do I need to leave?

The campsite must be vacated by 10 am on Monday 5 August. Please note that the festival officially finishes at 11:00 pm on Sunday 4 August and after this time all venues, cafes etc will be closed to the public as pack down will commence.

Are there any non-camping accommodation options?

You can book luxury glamping onsite with Yippee Tents.

Alternatively, there are a number of guest houses or Airbnb options in and around Wadebridge, as well as a Travelodge and Premier Inn.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Unfortunately not. Only registered assistance dogs, wearing their jackets and accompanied by their certificate, are permitted on site. If you have an assistance dog, please register it with the Information Point on arrival.

Can I book on arrival and/or pay by cash?

Camping must be pre-booked before the event via our website.

Payment cannot be made in cash, only via credit or debit card.

Can I charge my phone?

Yes, there are charging points in the Camping Office.

Can I freeze my ice packs?

Yes, the Camping Office offers an ice pack freezing service. Remember to bring enough to rotate!

Can I hire / buy camping equipment on site?

Unfortunately not. There are several shops nearby that sell some camping equipment, including Tesco, B&M Stores and Dickson Home Hardware in Wadebridge.

Where can I do laundry?

There is a coin-operated launderette on Polmorla Road, Wadebridge.

How do I cancel my booking?

Full cancellation policies can be found on our ticketing site.

In the event that you need to cancel your booking, please contact us via the “Contact Us” link on the camping booking system.

For payments made by credit/debit card, a refund will be made to the card used to book if within 60 days of the original payment. All other refunds will be made by online payment upon provision of sort code and account number. Please allow 30 days to process the refund.

You may wish to speak to an insurance broker for advice on a suitable policy to cover you in a case of cancellation (policies can be as low as a few pounds for individuals).

I am under 18. Can I camp at Creation Fest?

Yes, but you will need to be part of a group with at least one responsible adult (maximum of six under 18s per responsible adult please!).

What do I do on arrival?

Head straight for the Camping Office, where you’ll be given a warm welcome, as well as all the information that you need.

What do I do about food?

As well as on-site cafes and food trucks, there are several supermarkets, restaurants and cafes in Wadebridge, including a Tesco, Aldi and 24hr Marks and Spencer within walking distance of the campsite.

How can I camp with my church?

If you want to camp with a church group, you can do so by adding in your church’s unique camping code to your ticket details. This means that when you arrive on site you will be assigned a camping plot with the rest of your church.

I am volunteering. How do I get free camping?

If you are volunteering for four hours per day or more for all four days of the festival, you are entitled to free camping.

You will be sent a code to redeem your free camping once your volunteer application has been processed and accepted.

Please note: only the volunteer is entitled to free camping. Accompanying friends, family and children are welcome but must pay.

I have not received a camping confirmation email

You should receive your booking confirmation email within 24hrs of making your booking. If this does not happen, please check your junk/spam folders and then contact us.

Can I book an electrical hookup?

Yes! A limited number of electrical hookups are available at the time of booking. There is an additional charge for this.

I have accessibility needs. Can I camp?

Absolutely! We have dedicated accessible camping and parking areas on site, and The Royal Cornwall Events Centre has multiple accessible toilets and showers, including a high dependency/changing spaces toilet. Full details can be found on their website.
