Our camping booking for 2021 is not quite open…

It’s never too early to plan a summer adventure, right?

Bring your tent, motorhome or caravan. Our on-site facilities include plenty of toilets and showers, as well as a great selection of cafes and festival food trucks. Can’t stay all week? No problem – simply book the number of nights that you want to camp. With a dedicated quiet zone, youth camping area, accessible camping and Abide, our 18-30s camping village, you’re sure to find your perfect spot. Too posh to pitch? Camp in style

We all want to sleep in one of these gorgeous Podpads! Book a beautiful bell tent or a funky bunkpad for the best night’s sleep on site! Facilities include: dedicated toilets and showers, pamper parlour with hairdryers and straighteners, reception area with free tea and coffee at designated times, free phone charging facilities and wristbanded access.

We have five camping zones at Creation Fest:

You can select your preferred camping zone at the time of booking. You will then be sent a plot allocation shortly before the festival starts.

If you wish to camp with family or friends, it is recommended that you book on the same Individual and Family booking. If you are a group of 25 or more, book as a group for the best rates.

Camping FAQs

When can I arrive?

The campsite is open from midday on Friday 31 July. You are welcome to arrive at any point from that time onwards, but please note that the festival does not officially open until midday on Saturday 1 August, and as such, venues, cafes etc will not be accessible to the public and there may still be some construction taking place on site.

When do I need to leave?

The campsite must be vacated by midday on Saturday 8 August. Please note that the festival officially finishes at 10:00 pm on Friday 7 August, and after this time all venues, cafes etc will be closed to the public as pack down will commence.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Unfortunately not. Only registered assistance dogs, wearing their jackets and accompanied by their certificate, are permitted on site. If you have an assistance dog, please register it with the Information Point on arrival.

Can I charge my phone?

Yes, there are charging points in the Camping Office.

Can I freeze my ice packs?

Yes, the Camping Office offers an ice pack freezing service. Remember to bring enough to rotate!

Can I hire / buy camping equipment on site?

Unfortunately not. There are several shops nearby that sell some camping equipment, including Tesco, B&M Stores and Dickson Home Hardware in Wadebridge.

Where can I do laundry?

There is a coin-operated launderette on Polmorla Road, Wadebridge.

What are the dates for the super-early bird deal?

Super-Early bird rates are valid until 31 Aug.  To qualify for these discounts, 100% of the fees must be paid by the payment deadlines. Any bookings and/or payments that are received after the deadline will be subject to the higher

How do I cancel my booking?

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your booking, please contact us via the “Contact Us” link on the camping booking system.

Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
Before 1 June 2020: a 25% cancellation fee will apply. After 1 June 2020: 100% of the booking payment will be forfeited.

For payments made by credit/debit card, a refund will be made to the card used to book if within 60 days of the original payment. All other refunds will be made by online payment upon provision of sort code and account number. Please allow 30 days to process the refund.

You may wish to speak to an insurance broker for advice on a suitable policy to cover you in a case of cancellation (policies can be as low as a few pounds for individuals).

I am under 18. Can I camp at Creation Fest?

Yes, but you will need to be part of a group with at least one responsible adult (maximum of six under 18s per responsible adult please!).

Can I bring a dinner tent?

Yes! Group meeting, eating, greeting tents (maximum size. 8m x 8m including guy ropes) can be booked at an additional charge via the online booking form. If you wish to bring a larger communal tent, please call the office.

What do I do on arrival?

Head straight for the Camping Office, where you’ll be given a warm welcome, as well as all the information that you need.

What do I do about food?

As well as a great selection of on-site cafes and festival food trucks, there are several supermarkets, restaurants and cafes in Wadebridge, including a Tesco, Aldi and 24hr Marks and Spencer within walking distance of the campsite.

Are there any non-camping accommodation options?

Alternatively, there are a number of guest houses or Airbnb options in and around Wadebridge, as well as a Travelodge and Premier Inn.

Can I book on arrival and/or pay by cash?

Camping must be pre-booked before the event via our website. Additional charges will apply for on-site registration. Payment cannot be made in cash, only via credit or debit card.

What are the camping office hours?

The camping office opening hours are:

Friday 31 July: Midday –  21:00
Saturday 1 August: 09:00 – 21:00
Sunday 2 August: 09:00 – 21:00
Monday 3 August – Thursday 6 August: 09:00 – 18:00
Friday 7 August 09:00 – 16:00

I am volunteering. How do I get free camping?

If you are volunteering for a minimum of six days, for six hours per day or more, you are entitled to free camping. You will be sent a code to redeem your free camping once your volunteer application has been processed and accepted. Please note: only the volunteer is entitled to free camping. Accompanying friends, family and children are welcome but must pay.

I have not received a camping confirmation email

You should receive your booking confirmation email within 24hrs of making your booking. If this does not happen, please check your junk/spam folders and then contact us.

Can I amend my booking?

Yes. The booking system allows you to amend your booking (e.g., you can add another person, amend the camping plot etc.) subject to availability. To do this, you will need to log into the camping booking system using your confirmation booking reference sent to you via email.

Can I book an electrical hookup?

Yes! A limited number of electrical hookups are available at the time of booking. There is an additional charge of £65 for the week for this.

I have accessibility needs. Can I camp?

Absolutely! Creation Fest aims to be fully inclusive of all people who wish to come to the festival and is working hard to improve our accessibility. We have dedicated accessible camping and parking areas on site, and The Royal Cornwall Events Centre has multiple accessible toilets and showers, including a high dependency/changing spaces toilet. Can I choose where I camp?

We have five distinct camping areas at Creation Fest: the quiet camping zone, a youth camping area, Abide, our 18-30s camping village, an accessible camping area and our general camping area.

You can select which of these areas you would like to camp in at the time of booking. Your plot allocation will be sent to you shortly before the festival starts.

To ensure you camp with your family and friends, it is recommended that you book on the same Individual and Family booking. If you are a group of 25 or more, book as a group for the best rates.

Can I get a refund now that 2020 has been cancelled?

Absolutely. We’ll be automatically refunding 100% of all camping bookings over the next 10 days. There’s nothing you need to do but please bear with us. And of course please do get in touch if you do not receive your refund by mid May 2020.
